Have you noticed the enormous bug lying on the top of a hearse on U.S. 1? Heron Home and Outdoor placed a hearse, with Charlie “The Roach” Scurryfield on top, at its Ormond Beach location for Bike Week.

Charlie was “hired” to bring a “fun and interactive” awareness to Pest Max, a new pest control program for flying insects and bed begs. Charlie’s funeral in downtown Orlando was a way to remind homeowners to take necessary precautions and protect their home.

New café opens in Ormond-by-the-Sea

Crab Island Café, a breakfast and brunch restaurant has opened at 1460 Ocean Shore Boulevard in Ormond-by-the Sea. They are open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
