Joined by guitarist Nat Janoff and percussionist Matthew Feick, the band was recently voted ‘Best New Jazz Group’ in New York City Hot House Magazine, and The Boston Globe described Bennett's music as "a mix of jazz, folk, and minimalism." Their modern jazz is fused with elements of surf rock and avant-pop, or "Good natured playful irreverence." His group is currently touring to promote their new album, Sinking Houseboat Confusion.
