When An Ex’s Mom Comes Knocking

4:04 p.m.—The first block of Arrowhead Circle

Assault. A woman told police about an incident involving her ex-boyfriend’s mother. The woman’s ex called her that day to tell her his mother was on her way to pick up a car, which the woman said was getting fixed and was hers. When her ex’s mom arrived, along with three other women, the victim and her roommates witnessed her banging on their door for over 15 minutes and yelling threats about killing the victim.

After the mom and her posse returned to their vehicle, the victim and her roommates went out on the porch and told them to leave. The ex’s mother then pulled out a long barrel gun, possibly fake, and told them she was going to kill the victim.

The victim and the roommates said the gun’s barrel was “as wide as a pool noodle” and “did not even look real.” They decided not to press charges.
