Passover is at the Hilton this year because it's the closest thing to Israel

The message of Beth Judah is one of building friendships, and they want to spread that message at their Passover Seder.

On Passover Seder Sunday, the congregation of Beth Judah will gather in the ballroom of the Hilton in Daytona Beach to celebrate 3,200 years of being free from all kinds of slavery.

Rabbi Dr. Bruce Tucker loves the venue for many reasons, but mainly because it's the closest they can get to Israel.

"The ballrooms open up to glass windows facing east," he said. "It's the closest we can get, unless we want to walk in the water."

Held to commemorate the Israelites being freed from slavery, Rabbi Tucker calls the Passover, the most important faith event in the world because it serves as a starting point for credible hope and freedom of fear.

"It's a message to Jewish people and a message to the whole world," he said. "Free from any kind of slavery, fill in the blank. Primarily it's fear."

Over 250 people are expected to attend the messianic congregation's event, and Rabbi Tucker hopes to reach every single one of them with a simple, but powerful message.

"To communicate the credibility to God's friendship toward humanity," he said. "Building friendships is the most important thing we do because we hope those friendships change people's lives."
