Police identify person killed train accident at Lincoln Avenue crossing

Jerasen White lived in Boca Raton.

A person is dead after their car was struck by a train on crossing at Lincoln Avenue March 25. 

A southbound Florida East Coast train struck a vehicle that was crossing the railroad tracks eastbound. The driver, Jerasen White, 38, died at the scene. White was from Boca Raton.

Traffic was closed from 4:45 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. at Granada Boulevard/FEC, Lincoln Avenue/FEC and Wilmette Avenue/FEC. The roadways are now open.

The Ormond Beach Police Department and FEC Rail Road Police are investigating.
