Seabreeze senior uses Ormond Memorial Art Museum to ask out prom date

Vail Linn posted a graffiti art project featuring a photo of herself asking a fellow student to prom.

Vail Linn, a senior at Seabreeze High School, enlisted the help of the Ormond Memorial Art Museum March 16 to ask Tyler Moothart to be her prom date.

The pair arrived to look at the Images of Society and Self exhibit, which opened this past Thursday night. Linn had posted a graffiti art project featuring a photo of herself asking Moothart to prom near the reception desk. As they walked out, she pointed out her “favorite’’ piece of art.

Moothart, a Florida State University student, took one look at the piece and said, “Of course; you’re adorable.’’
