After a carnival and pep rally kicked off Homecoming festivities Thursday, Sept. 27, Seabreeze High School students and fans hit the parking lot of Municipal Stadium Friday armed with tubes and viles of black paint.

They were ready for some football.

To celebrate the first time in Sandcrabs’ history the team wore its new black helmets, fans turned their annual tailgate party into a “black-out,” covering their bodies and faces with blackness.

The homecoming court was also announced during the game’s halftime show, with Jaymz Couch  and Marlene Brooks crowned homecoming king and queen.

The Sancrabs won 59-7.
