Six months after appearing on the Food Network, Grace’s Place had to be shut down temporarily last month because of eight high-level infractions in a state inspection.

The inspection revealed inadequate refrigeration of food, which had to be discarded, along with evidence of rodent droppings. It was closed Sept. 22 and reopened the next day, after satisfactorily addressing the concerns, according to the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation.

The restaurant was featured to much local fanfare on the Food Network’s “Restaurant: Impossible” in March. On the show, celebrity chef Robert Irvine gave Grace’s Place a $10,000 makeover. It's located at 1000 SW Palm Coast Parkway.
