A side of gross

5:30 p.m., 100 block of on Cypress Edge Drive, Palm Coast

Indecent exposure. A man was arrested on Sunday Oct. 23 after exposing his genitalia the previous Friday to a woman working at a restaurant's curb-side pickup.

The employee stated that the man routinely parked in curb-side pickup but would ask for a menu and ordered there. On a previous occasion, the victim said, the man had his pants down when the employee was returning to the vehicle with his receipt.

This time, the report said, the man's window was rolled completely down, and the man was holding his exposed genitals as the employee approached the vehicle. The woman immediately went back inside the restaurant, and the man drove away when a male employee got the vehicle's license plate number.

The man was later identified in a photo line up by the victim and taken into custody.

Semper Fi

8:37 p.m., 100 block of at Cypress Point Parkway, Palm Coast

Disorderly intoxication. A man was arrested Thursday Oct. 27 after threatening to shoot people at a big box store on Cypress Point Parkway. Managers at the store said the man was threatening to shoot them and the customers with a gun he claimed he had on him. When the responding officers arrived, the man proceeded to threaten law enforcement and fought detainment, according to the arrest report; his speech was slurred and smelled of alcohol.

When asked, the man only gave "Hooah" as his first name and "Semper Fi" as his surname, according to the report. He was later identified at the jail.

Eventually the man was placed in the back of the patrol car and taken to the jail. He threatened and made "extremely offensive and derogatory" statements to the deputy driving the car, the arrest affidavit said. Because the man had a history of convictions for threatening law enforcement, he was charged with a felony count of threatening law enforcement.
