The Celebration of the Eagle Arts showcasing the works of Buddy Taylor Middle School visual arts students is scheduled for 6 to 7:30 p.m. April 12 in the school cafeteria.

Admission is free; donations are welcome. There will be door prizes and giveaways. Eagle chefs will be selling treats.

With a Flagler County Education Foundation Beaver Toyota Teacher Grant of $5,985, Buddy Taylor visual art teacher Jennifer Brooks was able to purchase standing art display panels in the fall that were used for the school's winter art show in December and will be used again for the spring art show.

"Our goal is to create a platform that brings the community and our students together in a creative way," Brooks said.
