Ormond student wins scholarship

The scholarship was given to students committed to improving their communities.

The Educational Research Center of America recently announced that Cody Carrier of Ormond Beach was selected as one of the 18 recipients of the 2015-2016 ERCA Community Contribution Scholarship.

Carrier was selected from a pool of more than 1,200 applicants from across the country. Each year, ERCA awards postsecondary scholarships to deserving students who are seeking to improve their communities and society at large. Winners are selected based on their commitment to improving their local community and to using their unique talents to address a specific, pressing need.
