A student shut down Calvary Christian Academy after she made threats to students and staff.

Calvary Christian Academy was disrupted March 4 after violent threats were made from an Instagram account aimed at the school.

A 13-year-old student, created the account titled “CCA Ugliest,” and posted “I wanna kill everyone at CCA. I promise I do.” According to the Ormond Beach Police Department, several students also received anonymous threats through text messages.

It was through further investigation by the police that the messages were coming from a residence in Holly Hill, and that a few days earlier, an Instagram account titled “CCA Finest” was created. The page promoted a positive image of the academy.

She was arrested March 4, and was charged with written threats to kill or do bodily injury, disruption of an educational institution, making a false report to law enforcement and cyber stalking.

Anyone with more information regarding the incident please call 677-0731.
