About $11,000 in jewelry stolen from Ormond Beach home
The police believe the suspect(s) entered Patricia Culler’s home on the 300 Block of Oak Drive by cutting through a lanai screen and entering through the bathroom.
Once inside the home, the suspect(s) took a pillow case and filled it with jewelry from Culler’s jewelry dresser and left the empty drawers on her bed.
Culler told police she left to run errands around 2:45 p.m. and returned home at approximately 4:28 p.m. She entered through the garage door and into the laundry room where she said she moved some clothes from the washer to the dryer. She told police she thinks the suspect(s) may have been in her home when she returned and heard her in the laundry room.
Culler’s engagement ring, which she said is valued at over $20,000, was on the counter in the bathroom, but wasn’t taken.
Police believe the suspect(s) exited through the master bedroom doors, which lead to the same lanai through which they may have entered.
