Healthy Eating on a Budget

Stroke Support Group

Intro to Alcohol Ink Painting
6 to 8 p.m. at the Ormond Memorial Art Museum. Whether you have no artistic experience, or you are an accomplished artist seeking to "unblock," this workshop is designed as a fun and relaxing way to tap into new areas of creativity. Learn the basics of choosing a color palette and the different materials and effortless techniques used to create a vibrant abstract landscape paintings. Experiment with painting on paper, tile, and glass. Leave with a few small paintings, tile coasters, and a glass votive holder. This is a free-flowing, intuitive medium. Open Gym

Image Transfer Workshop
10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Ormond Beach Memorial Art Museum. In this workshop participants will be introduced to the materials and various methods used to make successful photo and hand-drawn image transfers. Image transfers have a beautiful, ethereal quality and can be used in a multitude of art applications. Participants will leave with the knowledge to continue experimenting with image transfers in their own artwork and craft projects. No drawing experience required. All supplies provided.
