The city says children should stay away from debris piles.

For alternatives to trick or treating, see below for a list of area events, compiled by the city of Ormond Beach.  

The city issued a press release reminding residents to exercise caution near debris piles this Halloween weekend. These piles may obstruct sight-lines for motor vehicles and may also contain sharp objects such as broken limbs or harbor snakes and pests.  Do not allow children to play in debris.

 

Ormond “Maim” Street Haunted House Saturday, October 29 4:30 p.m.-9:30 p.m. Granada Plaza, 177 East Granada Blvd. $2 a ticket Proceeds to benefit Ormond Beach Elementary PTA & Ormond Main Street

 

Haunted Hay Ride Friday, Saturday, October 29 7:30 p.m. 6130 State Road 11, DeLeon Springs Adult Supervision please.

 

Rockefeller Revisited  Saturday, October 29 6-9 p.m. The Casements, 25 Riverside Drive Halloween program for all ages. $5 Adults, Children under 12 FREE Music, light refreshments and a glimpse of what things might have looked like in 1931. Several guest re-enactors that will be waiting on the candlelit tour.

 

YMCA Ormond Beach: Aqua Boo Fall Festival Saturday, October 29 6-9 p.m. 500 Sterthaus Drive

 

Harvest Fields Corn Maze and Hay Ride through November 6. Saturday: 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday: 11 a.m.-5 p.m. 2300 West State Road 40 Corn maze, giant hay fort, pumpkin patch, duck races, and more
