Despite a rainy morning, the American Legion Auxiliary raised $400 at their annual yard sale to help homeless vets held the morning of Saturday, Nov. 11.

Approximately 550 items were donated for the four-hour sale, from clothing, lamps and household decorations. All items not sold were donated to homeless shelters.

The organization's next fundraiser for veterans is its annual golf tournament which will take place in January. Last year, the golf tournament raised $8,000.
