Kilts were abound at Rockefeller Gardens this weekend for the third-annual Ormond Beach Celtic Festival.

Friday’s activities included a whiskey tasting and a concert featuring Grainne Hambly, William Jackson and Drever-McGuire-Young, at the Ormond Beach Performing Arts Center.

Scottish Highland Games athletes then took to Fortunato Park on Saturday to compete in the caber toss, sheaf throw, hammer toss and other events. Saturday also featured several musical performances and traditional Scottish dancing.

There was also an axe-throwing demonstration and information about Scottish heritage, in addition to food, drinks and souvenir vendors.
