Barrier Island house tops the sales list

A house across the street from the ocean was the top transaction for Aug. 26 to Sept. 1 in Ormond Beach and Ormond-by-the-Sea. Roger and Lori Murray, of Port Orange, sold 5 Sea Drift Terrace to Daniel McLemore, of Ormond Beach, for $689,000. Built in 1983, the house has four bedrooms, four baths, a fireplace, swimming pool and 2,163 square feet. It sold in 2016 for $435,000. Following is a partial list of the week’s other sales.

Ormond Beach

Gail Anderson, of Schaumberg, Illinois, sold 22 Sandcastle Drive to Roger Murray Jr., of Ormond Beach, for $300,000. Built in 1975, the house has four bedrooms, two baths, a swimming pool and 1,664 square feet. It sold in 1991 for $165,000.

Douglas and Rosemary Duckett, individually and as trustees, sold 225 Riverbend Road to Jennifer and Anthony Gibbons, of Ormond Beach, for $259,000. Built in 1978, the house has three bedrooms, 2.5 baths, a fireplace and 2,256 square feet. It sold in 1986 for $107,500.

Alejandro and Lismer Castellano, of Daytona Beach, sold 1101 Sherbourne Way to Garrett Vondruska and Kristy Bower, of Ormond Beach, for $232,000. Built in 1981, the house has three bedrooms, two baths, a fireplace and 1,585 square feet. It sold in 1998 for $96,500.

Gary and Nikki Zimmerman sold 105 Chrysanthemum Drive to Mahendrakumar and Manishaben Gandhi for $230,000. Built in 2007, the house has four bedrooms, 2.5 baths and 2,328 square feet. It sold in 2016 for $205,000.

Kim DePaul sold 804 E. River Oak Drive to Megan and Michael Rinyu, of Ormond Beach, for $220,000. Built in 1985, the house has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,815 square feet.

Thomas Siegel, of Cummings, Georgia, sold 741 W. River Oak Drive to John and Melissa Dederer, of Stratford, Connecticut, for $205,000. Built in 1976, the house has three bedrooms, two baths, a swimming pool and 1,836 square feet. It sold in 1996 for $115,000.

Rudolph DeFreitas sold 25 Arrowhead Circle to Christopher Whidden and Jason Whidden, of Ormond Beach, for $180,000. Built in 1974, the house has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,316 square feet. It sold in 2017 for $110,000.

Ryan and Kayla Dale, of Ormond Beach, sold 325 Thackery Road to Debra Stalk, of Ormond Beach, for $158,000. Built in 1959, the house has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,140 square feet. It sold in 2013 for $48,500.

Raymond Cavallo, of Ormond Beach, sold 26 Oriole Circle, Unit B, to Thomas Timmons, of Ormond Beach, for $141,000. Built in 1947, the townhouse has two bedrooms, one bath and 675 square feet. It sold in 2003 for $75,900.

Ken and Pam Barkyoumb, of Harriman, Texas, sold 1258 Scottsdale Drive to John Andrinopoulos, of Daytona Beach, for $126,000. Built in 1959, the house has three bedrooms, two baths, a swimming pool and 1,215 square feet. It sold in 2003 for $105,000.

Breakaway Trails

Breakaway Trails Inc., of Daytona Beach, sold 107 Tomoka Ridge Way to Manjula and Kiran Kanji, of Atlanta, for $572,398. Built in 2018, the house has five bedrooms, 3.5 baths and 3,609 square feet.

Douglas and Shannon Salazar, of Palm City, sold 65 Coquina Ridge Way to Matthew and Brianna Ferritto, of Ormond Beach, for $380,000. Built in 1998, the house has four bedrooms, three baths, a fireplace, swimming pool and 2,720 square feet. It sold in 2005 for $393,700.

Plantation Bay

Thomas and Lisa Bonanno, of Pompano, sold 1231 Hampstead Lane to Richard and Nancy Niedzwiecki, as trustees, for $405,000. Built in 2003, the house has three bedrooms, two baths, a fireplace, swimming pool and 2,487 square feet. It sold in 2016 for $355,000.

William Powell sold 1251 Hampstead Lane to Dennis and Marion Cherry, of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, for $330,000. Built in 2003, the house has three bedrooms, two baths, a fireplace, swimming pool and 2,287 square feet. It sold in 2003 for $244,580.

Paul Bach, of Baltimore, sold 1280 Royal Pointe Lane to Bruce Grobe and Marcia Gradowitz-Grobe, of Ormond Beach, for $308,000. Built in 2006, the house has four bedrooms, two baths, a swimming pool and 2,107 square feet. It sold in 2013 for $260,000.

John and Jackie Wagoner, of Ponce Inlet, sold 434 Long Cove Road to Jeremy and Marie Clifford, of Ormond Beach, for $280,000. Built in 1998, the house has three bedrooms, two baths, a swimming pool and 1,983 square feet. It sold in 2015 for $235,000.

Charisse Henning and Austin Warrin, of Orchard Park, New York, sold 409 Seabrook Road to Norman and Janine Bogard, of Ormond Beach, for $275,000. Built in 1994, the house has two bedrooms, two baths, a swimming pool and 2,152 square feet. It sold in 2004 for $232,400.

Prestwick at Plantation Bay, of Daytona Beach, sold 727 Aldenham Lane to Jeffrey Jacobs, of Ormond Beach, for $260,000. Built in 2018, the villa has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,078 square feet.

Ormond-by-the-Sea

Jeffrey Green, of Palm Coast, sold 111 Barrier Isle Drive to Jerald and Lorraine Upchurch, of Ormond Beach, for $325,000. Built in 1994, the house has three bedrooms, two baths, a fireplace and 1,902 square feet. It sold in 2000 for $155,000.

Gerald McCarthy, individually and as trustee, sold 126 Beau Rivage Drive to Jonathon Cline and Jeffrey Koenig, of Kannapolis, North Carolina, for $275,000. Built in 1971, the house has three bedrooms, three baths and 1,961 square feet. It sold in 1997 for $80,000.

Shirley and Giro Gentile, of Ormond Beach, sold 214 Essex Drive to Rita Michelini, of Ormond Beach, for $200,000. Built in 1955, the house has two bedrooms, one bath and 920 square feet. It sold in 1988 for $47,000.

Donna Mancini sold 2750 Oceanshore Blvd., Unit 18, to Gregory Jolley, as trustee, for $194,000. Built in 1973, the condo has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,184 square feet. It sold in 2003 for $154,000.

Jeffrey Williamson, Sunny Large and Jarrod Williamson sold 10 Lynnhurst Drive, Unit 2080, to Hartsell Frazier LLC, of Lexington, Kentucky, for $64,000. Built in 1974, the condo has two bedrooms, 1.5 baths and 930 square feet. It sold in 1999 for $54,000.
