A house in Oak Forest was the top real estate transaction in Ormond Beach and Ormond-by-the-Sea for the week of Dec. 29-Jan. 4 in the Multiple Listing Service. V. Kathryn Babcock, of Ormond Beach, sold 1209 Oak Forest Drive to Todd Hendrix, of Miami, for $585,000. Built in 1985, the house has four bedrooms, 2.5 baths, a fireplace, swimming pool and 3,288 square feet. It sold in 2017 for $592,000. Following is a partial list of the week’s other sales.
Ormond Beach
John and Helen Brannon, of Esther, sold 208 Riverbend Road to Patricia Lax, of Port Orange, for $290,000. Built in 1979, the house has four bedrooms, three baths and 2,610 square feet. It sold in 1979 for $79,500.
James Brooks, of Ormond Beach, sold 126 Rockefeller Drive to Sarah Wagers, of Ormond Beach, for $227,500. Built in 1955, the house has three bedrooms, 1.5 baths and 1,136 square feet.
Ramin Bonnet and Debra VanOrden, of Ormond Beach, sold 8 Arrowhead Circle to ACL Realty LLC, of Port Orange, for $127,000. Built in 1975, the house has three bedrooms, 2.5 baths and 1,680 square feet. It sold in 2007 for $86,300.
Halifax Plantation
Susan Romanello, individually and as trustee, sold 1439 Ioni Court to Loran and Deborah Lindsey, of Ormond Beach, for $460,000. Built in 2003, the house has four bedrooms, 4.5 baths, a fireplace, swimming pool and 2,889 square feet.
Hunter’s Ridge
Michael and Summer Harsch, of Bradenton, sold 16 Dormer Drive to Edgar Taylor III, of Ormond Beach, for $324,900. Built in 2008, the house has four bedrooms, 2.5 baths and 3,280 square feet. It sold in 2008 for $274,814.
Oak Forest
Carolyn Slattery, of Raleigh, North Carolina, 1533 N. Beach St. to Alexander Strautmann, of Ormond Beach, for $245,500. Built in 1978, the house has three bedrooms, two baths, a fireplace and 1,977 square feet. It sold in 1979 for $75,000.
Plantation Bay
Frances Restmeyer, of Pompton Plains, New Jersey, sold 703 Dolphin Head Lane to Carl and Christine Reinighaus, of Ormond Beach, for $400,000. Built in 1995, the house has four bedrooms, 3,5 baths, a fireplace, swimming pool and 2,542 square feet.
Prestwick at Plantation Bay, of Daytona Beach, sold 1099 Kilkenny Lane to Janet O’Neal, of Ormond Beach, for $260,000. Built in 2014, the town house has three bedrooms, three baths and 2,081 square feet.
Saddlers Run
Judicial Acquisitions Group LLC sold 27 Sounders Trail Circle to Ryan and Julia Skinner, of Ormond Beach, for $244,500. Built in 1999, the house has three bedrooms, two baths and 1,691 square feet. It sold in 2019 for $145,000.
The Trails
James Cooksey and T.J. Cooksey, of New Smyrna Beach, sold 8 Fernwood Trail to Paul and Evelyn Smith, of Ormond Beach, for $470,000. Built in 1984, the house has three bedrooms, 3.5 baths, two fireplaces and 3,285 square feet. It sold in 2004 for $388,000.
Terry and Ethiel Sherwood, of Port Orange, sold 15 Maplewood Trail to Clayton Dubrule, of Ormond Beach, for $170,000. Built in 1979, the house has three bedrooms, 2.5 baths, a fireplace and 1,780 square feet. It sold in 2016 for $113,000.
Tomoka Estates
Agnes Elliott, of Ormond Beach, sold 1104 Landers St. to Kathryn and Bradley Knight, of Ormond Beach, for $169,000. Built in 1953, the house has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,082 square feet.
Tomoka Meadows
Carlos Soldevilla and Angela Slattery sold 18 Tomoka Meadows Blvd. to BrenTom Ltd., of Hartville, Ohio, for $124,900. Built in 1980, the townhouse has two bedrooms, 2.5 baths and 1,434 square feet. It sold in 2015 for $80,000.
Ormond-by-the-Sea
Heidi and Timothy Mooney, of Davie, sold 34 Sunny Shore Drive to James and Patricia Hughes, of Ormond Beach, for $207,000. Built in 1958, the house has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,120 square feet. It sold in 2003 for $129,000.
Jim and Em Properties LLC, of Morehead City, North Carolina, sold 12 Seaside Drive to Jeanie Holland, of Ormond Beach, for $202,000. Built in 1958, the house has two bedrooms, 1.5 baths and 944 square feet. It sold in 2019 for $145,500.
