Beachside house tops the sales list

A house in Ormond-by-the-Sea was the top real estate transaction for the week of Aug. 31 to Sept. 6 in Ormond Beach. Lawrence and Deborah Carter, of Ormond Beach, sold 6 Ocean Side Drive to Christian and Stephanie Looney, of Brandon, for $392,000. Built in 1957, the house has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,073 square feet. It sold in 1972 for $35,500.

ORMOND BEACH

U.S. Bank National Assoc., as trustee, of Frederick, Maryland, sold 681 Wellington Station, Unit 6, to Karen Atkins, of Ormond Beach, for $57,500. Built in 1986, the condo has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,000 square feet. It sold in 2001 for $65,000.

Ormond-by-the-Sea

Joseph and Lori Flynn, of Titusville, sold 2860 Ocean Shore Blvd., Unit 305, to Michael Byrne and Ping Wang, of St. John’s, for $179,000. Built in 1990, the condo has two bedrooms, two baths and 1,056 square feet. It sold in 2004 for $235,000.
