The coffee chain moved from Granada Plaza to its own building at 125 E. Granada Blvd.
Beachside coffee aficionados can rejoice, as the new Starbucks is officially open for business after about a year of construction.
Located at 125 E. Granada Blvd., the 2,509-square-foot Starbucks was built on the site of a formerly blighted structure, which was demolished for the project. The coffee chain moved from its storefront in the Granada Plaza Shopping Center down the road. The new building has a drive-thru lane.
A tweet by the city of Ormond Beach announcing the opening stated that the drive-thru lane doesn't have menus up yet.
This may not be the only standalone Starbucks with a drive-thru in Ormond Beach, as the Starbucks on West Granada Boulevard could relocate to a new location at Shoppes on Granada by the upcoming Aldi.
