We asked residents of Ormond Beach about the best advice they'd ever received. Here is one of their responses.

Best advice: My Grandfather told me three things, and the words are with me daily:
1. Watch yourself and be careful
2. Observe, Remember and Compare
3. Remember where you came from.
The words my grandfather told me, always, have just been integrated into the person I am, the way I think and how I view the world.
They have, for many years now, been a part of me. I think of him and them often. I have also tried to teach my own children, and they may have made me a better educator as well.
