Niewald hired as partner at hospital

Dr. Andrew Niewald has joined the HealthCare Partners medical staff at Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center, at 305 Memorial Medical Parkway, in Daytona Beach.

Prior to the hiring, Niewald practiced medicine in Missouri. He completed his residency in family medicine at Halifax Family Medicine, in Daytona Beach.

Chris Butera named a Florida top land broker

Incoming chair of the Ormond Beach Chamber of Commerce, Chris Butera, of NAI Realvest Professionals, has won third place in the Land Broker of the Year category of the Florida chapter of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties’ annual Best of the Best Awards gala.

Butera closed on five land transactions that totaled 184.21 acres, valued at more than $2.42 million.

“The economic downturn has particularly affected the commercial real estate industry but many sectors are bouncing back strong,” says NAI Realvest Managing Director Robin Webb. “We expect to see big increases in the volume of transactions and dollar values through the remainder of this year and well into next year.”
