Private CPA opens for business

A 25-year industry veteran, Loucretia Campos has opened her own financial-consulting practice, Loucretia B. Campos Inc., to offer chief financial officer-type services to local, small- and mid-sized companies.

“A full-time CFO is a $150,000- to $200,000-per-year expense to a company,” Campos says. “My consulting allows companies to gain my experience and education on a consultant basis without the expense of a full-time employee. Most small companies would never be able to afford this.”

A Stetson University master’s grad, Campos is an experienced chief financial officer and staff accountant.

“Businesses in our area (which) have survived the recession deserve to be targeted for quality growth,” she added. “It's time to take the operations up to the next level. I work with the owner …  to do just that.
