Blue Moon Yoga hits four years

Everybody strike the celebration pose — Blue Moon Yoga & Fitness, at 136 N. Orchard St., has marked its fourth year of business in Ormond Beach this month!

The studio also recently added kids yoga to its schedule, every Saturday morning; free-flow yoga, every Sunday; and spirit-flow (yoga to religious music) and fly-flow (arm-balancing), once a month.

Throughout March, Blue Moon’s annual membership will also be on sale for $630, a three-month membership is $250.

The Center for Business Excellence has opened registration for its ninth-annual Business Summit, to be held June 11, at the Hilton Daytona Beach Resort, 100 N. Atlantic Ave.

This year’s focus will be on the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, or “Obamacare,” with workshops and a panel discussion addressing how the act can impact your business, changes to implement in the next two years, as well as tax, law, medical and insurance implications.

Florida Hospital will host a career fair for experienced registered nurses Wednesday, March 20, at Plaza Resort and Spa, 600 N. Atlantic Ave. in Daytona Beach. Recruiters from each of the five local Florida Hospitals will be in attendance, for onsite interviews.

Volusia OB/GYN physicians Dr. Meetesh Desai, Dr. Linda Haddox and Dr. Ted Robertson all became certified by the American Institute for minimally invasive surgery last month, making Volusia OB/GYN the only clinic throughout Volusia or Flagler counties to hold this designation. Dr. Cecille Tapia-Santiago, of Volusia OB/GYN and Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center’s BirthCare Center director, was the first in all of Volusia and Flagler counties to earn this designation, last August.
