Charles Schaefer opening art reception

When: 5:30 p.m.

Where: Ocean Art Gallery, 197 E. Granada Blvd.

Details: Attend this opening art reception for one of Florida's award-winning oil plein air artists' newest exhibition, titled "A Cool Breeze and A Brush." Schaefer will also share a special presentation about his personal look at his life and art in direct connection with the gallery's summer-long artistic theme "Old Florida." There will be live music, refreshments and a chance to meet Schaefer and other artists.

Florida Licensing on Wheels

When: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Where: Ormond Beach City Hall, 22 S. Beach St.

Civil Discourse/ Common Ground meeting

When: 6:30 p.m.

Where: Starbucks, 125 E. Granada Blvd.

Details: Civil Discourse invites residents to share their input regarding the growth and development of the community. This meeting, the group will look at information on the Ormond Beach Municipal Airport runway extension, and will have guest panelists on the subject matter. Bring a chair and a mask, and rain gear if needed. The final 15 minutes of the meeting will feature an open discussion to hone in on current topics. 5K Ice Cream Walk

When: 7 p.m.
