Where: Virtual

Details: Hosted by the Ormond Beach Historical Society, this Florida Humanities webinar titled, "Made in Florida: Artists, Celebrities, Educators and Other Icons in the Sunshine State," will be led by Art Levy, an associate editor of Florida Trend magazine. Memorial Day Block Party

Memorial Day Remembrance Service

When: 9 a.m.

Where: Rockefeller Gardens, 26 Riverside Drive

Seurat, Signac, color theory and pointillism

When: 6-8 p.m.

Where: Virtual

Details: Led by artist Colleen Flannery, this class will contemplate artist contributions by Seurat, Signac, Pizarro and others, as well as chromoluminarism, divisionism and pointillism. Costs $50 for Ormond Memorial Art Museum members and $55 for nonmembers. Students responsible for supplies. Class open to ages 16 and up. Sign up by June 1. The Museum of Arts and Sciences has the following shows on display: "Fresh Off the Easel: Watercolors" by Frank Spino; "Seeing Differently: Photography" by Margo Kessler Cook; and "Time Honored: The Art of Dean Mitchell."
