Saturday, Feb. 1

6th-annual Granada Grand Festival of the Arts

When: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Where: Ormond Mainstreet, 44 W. Granada Blvd.

Details: Taking place at the City Hall complex, along West Granada Boulevard and in the streets between, see the work of more than 80 artists, catch a live art demonstration or take part in a community art project. There will be food trucks and a beer garden. New this year is also a wine festival and tasting sponsored by S.R. Perrott taking place from 1-4 p.m. Tickets for the wine festival are $15. The rest of the festival is free. Call 492-2938.

'The Land — The People'

When: 5-8 p.m.

Where: Ocean Art Gallery, 197 E. Granada Blvd.

Details: Join the gallery for an art-filled evening featuring Ormond Beach resident Barbara Perrotti. See her artwork and enjoy music and light refreshments. Free and open to the public. Take a shuttle to other participating Ormond Beach Art Walk venues. Perrotti will also be painting a live model at city hall from noon to 2 p.m.

Black History Month Celebration kick-off

When: 6 p.m.

Where: Ormond Beach Performing Arts Center, 399 U.S. 1

Details: Featuring gospel singer Brent Jones, most known for "Open Your Mouth and Say Something." The concert will have a chour, dancers from Bethune-Cookman University theatre and a Christian comedian. Seating is limited. Tickets cost $15. Call 676-3375. 

Sunday, Feb. 2

Annual Old Florida Plantation tour

When: 10 a.m.

Where: Tomoka State Park, 2099 N Beach St.

Details: Join the Ormond Beach Historical Society and Tomoka State Park for guided tours of local plantations, including Bulow Plantation, James Ormond Park, Tomoka State Park and Mount Oswald Plantation. Pack a lunch to enjoy at the park. Tickets cost $15 for adults, $13 for OBHS members and $5 for children 5-12.

Monday, Feb. 3

Coffee with Commissioner Kent

When: 5-6 p.m.

Where: 130 Magnolia Drive

Details: Enjoy a cup of coffee and conversation with Zone 2 City Commissioner Troy Kent at his home.

Thursday, Feb. 6

'An Evening with Cher, Elton John, Celine Dion, and Streisand'

When: 7-9 p.m.

Where: Ormond Beach Performing Arts Center, 399 N. U.S. 1

Details: Direct from Las Vegas, celebrity impersonators The Edwards Twins return to Ormond for one show only. See their spot-on impersonations of yur favorite musical stars in this fast-paced music show. VIP reserved seating costs $40, general seating costs $30 and wings reserved seating costs $20. Call 676-3375.
