Ruff Ride Poker Run

When: 12-6 p.m.

Where: Halifax Humane Society, 2364 LPGA Blvd.

Details: Join the Halifax Humane Society for its Bike Week Ruff Ride, an annual fundraiser to support the animal shelter. This event will be slightly modified for the safety of its participants. Presented by the Halifax Humane Society, Iron Horse and Politis and Matovina. Ride stops to be announced. Registration costs $25 and includes a T-shirt, dinner and drink at Iron Horse Saloon. Details: This exhibit by Ormond Memorial Art Museum features 56 original oil paintings by Malcolm Fraser. These works are part of the museum's permanent collection and were donated by Fraser in 1946. They serve as a memorial to those who served in World War I and World War II.
