'Brent Clowers'

When: 6-8 p.m.

Where: The Casements, 25 Riverside Drive

Details: Grab a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy this free concert, which is part of the city's Summer Sounds concert series. Refreshments available for purchase.

Saturday, July 20

Nature Photography

When: 10 a.m. to noon

Where: Environmental Discovery Center, 601 Division Ave.

Details: Free bird photography class. Techniques for all skill levels. Good camera with reasonable length lens recommended. Learn about bird behavior and discover how to capture photographs in the field. Space is limited. Call 615-7081.

Second-annual Minute to Win It FUNdraiser

When: 2-5 p.m.

Where: Fletcher's Irish Pub, 393 W. Granada Blvd.

Details: Hosted by the Rotary Club of Downtown Ormond Beach. This year's games are Defying Gravity, Card Ninja and How’s it Hanging.  Tickets include one beer and a free koozie. Trophies and cash prizes available for winners. All proceeds will benefit local and global Rotary causes. Early bird tickets cost $25, advanced are $30, and day of tickets cost $35. Happy Wanderers

When: 8 a.m.

Monday, July 22

Civil Discourse

When: 5:30-6:45 p.m.

Where: Auditorium at Ormond Beach Public Library, 30 S. Beach St.

Details: City Commissioner Dwight Selby will participate in a discussion entitled, "Ormond’s Septic Tanks: Problems and Solutions." Participants are encouraged to express themselves openly and honestly, following civil discourse guidelines. Open to the public. Contact Linda Williams at [email protected]

Wednesday, July 24

Dance lessons

When: 12:30-1:30 p.m.

Where: Ormond Senior Center, 351 Andrews St.

Details: On Wednesdays, the Council on Aging offers dance lessons provided by "Dance With Me" instructors Tom and Jo Sanders. Costs $2. Participants are welcome to stay afterward for a dance gala and social, from 2-4 p.m. featuring live big band music by The Blue Notes. Call 672-4159.

Puppet show at the EDC

When: 3-4 p.m.

Where: Environmental Discovery Center, 601 Division Ave.

Details: Kids are invited to attend a free nature themed puppet show program. Call 615-7081.
