Thursday, Nov. 1

Pumpkin Patch

When: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., daily until Oct. 31

Where: Grace Lutheran Church, 338 Ocean Shore Blvd.

Details: Come pick a pumpkin and take photos. Patch open until all pumpkins are gone. 

Friday, Nov. 2

Movies on the Halifax

When: 6:30 p.m.

Where: Rockefeller Gardens, 26 Riverside Drive

Details: Watch "Star Wars: The Last Jedi." Character parade to begin at 6:30 p.m. Movie starts at 6:45 p.m. Special appearance by the 501st Legion. Bring a lawn chair or blanket.

When: 7 p.m.

Where: Ormond Beach Performing Arts Center, 399 N. U.S. 1

Saturday, Nov. 3

Plant sale

When: 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Where: Bailey Riverbridge Gardebs meeting house, 1 N. Beach St.

Details: Stock up on herbs and flowering plants. Presented by the Seaside Herb Society.

Holiday Bazaar

When: 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Where: Tomoka United Methodist Church, 1000 Old Tomoka Road

Details: Featuring a selection of fall, Christmas and year-round crafts and gifts. Lunch to be served between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Call 672-6722. 

Car Show

When: 12-4 p.m.

Where: Tomoka State Park, 2099 N. Beach St.

Details: This is a Model specific show along the Tomoka River. There will be live music from 1-4 p.m. Call 673-0022.

Loop fall trail walk

When: 10 a.m.

Where: Walter Boardman Lane

Details: Held by the Ormond Scenic Loop and Trail. Meet at the pull-off at Gate B12, just west of the bridge at Bulow Creek. Walk the trail for about two hours with Dr. Don Spence. Free, no registration required. Bring water and insect repellent. Contact Rob Bird at [email protected]

Tricky Tray Auction

When: Doors open at 11 a.m., auction begins at 1 p.m.

Where: Holy Dormition Byzantine Catholic Church, 17 Buckskin Lane

60th Mainland High School reunion for class of '58

When: 4 p.m.

Where: The Trails Clubhouse, 201 Main Trail

Details: The Mainland High School Class of 1958 will celebrate it's 60th reunion with a meet and greet and dinner. Dinner starts at 5 p.m., and costs $40 per person. Contact Joyce Bornmann at 321-724-1794.

ArtWalk

When: 4-8 p.m.

Where: Arts On Granada, 67 W Granada Blvd.

Details: Come out for Ormond's 1st Saturday Artwalk. Front gallery will be "Under The Spanish Influence," featuring Sharo Rush, Wilson Romero, Juan Carlos Cahue and others. Wine and appetizers will be available.

Sunday, Nov. 4

Pancake breakfast

When: 8 a.m. to noon

Where: St. Brendan Social Hall, 1000 Ocean Shore Blvd.

Details: Hosted by Father Eamonn Gill Council 13018 Knights of Columbus. Meal includes all-you-can-eat pancakes, scrambled eggs, a sausage link, orange juice and coffee. Costs $5 for adults, children under 12 eat free. Open to all. 

Wednesday, Nov. 7

Sewing classes

When: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Where: Hobby Lobby, 11000 Cornerstone Blvd.

Details: Taught every Wednesday by Usha Lakshmanan. Learn to make bags, purses, key fobs and more. Costs $20 per class. Students take home a finished project each time. Call or text 627-1844.

Thursday, Nov. 8

SHS "Test Drive" fundraiser 

When: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Where: Seabreeze High School, 2700 N. Oleander Ave.

Details: Help the PTSA off Seabreeze High School raise funds to replace a broken audio system in the school’s auditorium. Test drive new vehicles on campus. No purchase necessary. For every test drive, Daytona Auto Mall will make a donation to SHS.

Halifax Genealogical Society

When: 1:30 p.m.

Where: Ormond Beach Library auditorium, 30 S. Beach St.

Details: Learn how to recognize urban myths in your family history. Visitors welcome. Call 672-3806.
