Saturday, Nov. 24

Shop Small Saturday Outdoor Market

When: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Where: Frame of Mind, 23 W. Granada Blvd.

Details: This one-day event is held in the back garden. This year, it'll feature about 40 artists and vendors, as well as live music by Sol III.

Sunday, Nov. 25

Choral Society concert

When: 3:30 p.m.

Where: Ormond Beach Presbyterian Church, 105 Amsden Road

Details: Join the Daytona Beach Choral Society as it presents, "Waiting for Bethlehem's Light - Songs of the Advent Season," with piano, flute and oboe. Dessert reception to follow. Donation of $10 is requested. Call 274-5604. 

Tuesday, Nov. 27

OB Life

When: 6-8 p.m.

Where: Calvary Christian Academy Kids Center, 1687 W. Granada Blvd.

Details: This is the final workshop of the six-part community engagement series. This workshop will be discussing economic development in the community. Visit ormondbeach.org

Wednesday, Nov. 28

Sewing classes

When: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Where: Hobby Lobby, 11000 Cornerstone Blvd.

Details: Taught every Wednesday by Usha Lakshmanan. Learn to make bags, purses, key fobs and more. Costs $20 per class. Students take home a finished project each time. Call or text 627-1844.

Ormond Art Club

When: 2-4:30 p.m.

Where: Ormond Memorial Art Museum, 78 E. Granada Blvd.

Details: Learn how to make string art. Open to ages 6-12. All supplies are provided. Class is taught by Colleen Flannery. Costs $18 for members, $20 for non-members. Register at ormondartmuseum.org or by calling 676-3347.

Sparkle in the Garden

When: 5-7 p.m.

Where: Ormond Memorial Art Museum, 78 E. Granada Blvd.

Details: Shop local at this holiday market. Sip champagne as you find unique gifts and stroll through the museum's historic Emmons Cottage and gardens.
