Details: Presented by America's Boating Club, this two-day course held over consecutive Saturdays (the second one will be held on March 14) is the course needed to obtain a state operator's ID and apply for a possible insurance discount. Details: See much of the history and scenery of Ormond Beach via the Ormond Beach Historical Society’s bus tour. Beginning at The Casements, the tour includes the Loop, the Three Chimneys Sugar Mill Ruins and a visit to see the Fairchild Oak. Tickets must be purchased in advance at the MacDonald House, located at 38 E. Granada Blvd. Tickets cost $22 for adults, $20 for Historical Society members and $7 for ages 5-12. Tour takes about two hours. Call 677-7005.
