Saturday, Sept. 18

International Coastal and Halifax River cleanup

When: 8-11 a.m.

Where: Varies

Details: Volusia County will participate in the Ocean Conservancy's 36th International Coastal Cleanup in various sites across the county. Registration is not required to participate, but those who chose to do may register at volusia.org/services/growth-and-resource-management/environmental-management/get-involved/waterway-cleanups/international-coastal-cleanup.stml

Sunday, Sept. 19

Low-cost pet shot clinic

When: 9-11 a.m.

Where: Big Lots plaza, 122 N. Nova Road

Details: Get your pet vaccinated at a lower cost. Rabies shots will cost $5 for 1-year vaccinations. Other shots offered include dog distemper/parvo combo, dog flu, cat distemper combo, feline leukemia and more. Heartworm prevention and flea control products will be available for purchase. All vaccinations are administered with a licensed veterinarian. Volusia County sea turtle rehabilitation discussion

When: 5:30 p.m.

Where: Ocean Art Gallery, 197 E. Granada Blvd.

Details: Allison Bernstein from Volusia County Sea Turtle Rehabilitation will discuss the turtle intake and rehabilitation process at the Marine Science Center with a 2021 turtle update and year-to-date recap. Call 317-9400.

Saturday, Sept. 25

Rummage/craft sale

When: Call for information

Where: Ormond Beach Elks Lodge 2193, 285 Wilmette Ave.

Details: The Ormond Beach Elks Lodge 2193 will hold a rummage/craft sale. Vendor tables are $15 for an 8-foot table; $25 for two tables. Call Kathy Papson at 386-276-3545 to reserve a table.

3rd-annual Ormond Beach Live original music and art festival

When: 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Where: Rockefeller Gardens, 26 Riverside Dr.

Details: Come see over 100 acts performing on 13 stages at the Casements and Rockefeller Gardens. Tickets cost $10 in advance; $15 at the gate. Children 12 and under are free.  There is an after party at Fletcher's Irish Pub, located 393 W. Granada Blvd. Visit ssa.cc/ormond.html
