Art of Speed

When: 6-9 p.m.

Where: One Daytona's Victory Circle, 1 Daytona Blvd.

Details: Co-hosted by Gallery500 and Lifestyle Group Oceans Luxury Realty, this event features luxury vehicles on display, DJ entertainment, outdoor bars and food stations. This is the third year the event is being held. A$25 donation is requested to attend a VIP reception, which will have wine tasting, an artist meet-and-greet and private exhibition.

The American Revolution in Florida: The Siege of Pensacola, 1781

When: 10-11 a.m.

Where: Virtual

12th-annual Taste of the 24

When: 6 p.m.

Where: Midway Suites at Daytona International Speedway, 1801 W. International Speedway Blvd.

Details: Take part in a special dining experience hosted by The NASCAR Foundation during the 59th Rolex 24 at Daytona. Attendees will sample menu items from 18 local restaurants during the season-opening race for the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. Participating restaurants include 4 Rivers BBQ, Cantina Louie and Rock Bottom Restaurant and Brewery. Tickets start at $110, and include a weekend pas to the Rolex 24. Tickets for children 12 and under are $24. COVID-19 safety measures will be in place.

Song of the Coast Chorus

When: 7-8 p.m.

Where: Virtual

Details: The all-women Song of the Coast Chorus is hosting a virtual event for potential new members in preparation for post-COVID-10 performances in the late summer or early fall. A Woman's World

Tuesday, Feb. 9

Guild's Closet Full of Goodies luncheon

When: 10:30 a.m.

Where: Halifax Plantation Golf Club, 3400 Clubhouse Drive

Details: The Guild of the Museum of Art and Sciences' annual February luncheon is coming soon. Themed, "My Closet to Yours," it will feature a selection of new and gently used designer handbags and many fashion accessories. Lunch will be either Alaskan salmon with dill sauce or chicken cordon bleu. Costs $40 per person. Contact MOAS at 255-0285 for reservations by Feb. 1.
