Casements Camera Club photo contest winners announced

Four local photographers went home with awards, at the Casements Camera Club's 20th-annual Ebony & Ivory exhbit.

Winners of the Casements Camera Club’s 20th-annual Ebony & Ivory Exhibit, currently on display at The Casements, 25 Riverside Drive, were announced March 1, featuring four photographers taking home five awards.

Of 69 framed images, by 42 Camera Club members, Sandy Walters won Best in Show, with his photo, “Sundown.” Aans van Beek won first place for “Lighting the Way.” Doug Spence won the Casements Award, for “Old Time Bikers” And Dave Rubello brought home second- and third-place wins.

The club meets 7 p.m. the fourth Thursday of every month, January through November, at the Baily Riverbridge Gardens, 1 N. Beach St.

The Ebony & Ivory exhibit will run through Thursday, March 28. Gallery hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 8 a.m. to noon Saturday.
