Casements celebrates third year of free 'Movies on the Halifax'

When “Yogi Bear” lights up the screen at this month’s free Movie on the Halifax event, hosted by the city’s Leisure Services Department and The Casements Guild, it will mark the 36^th time a movie has been hosted there for city residents.

The free film series will celebrate its third anniversary in Ormond Beach with free cake to patrons, according to Siobhan Daly, city cultural coordinator.

The show will start at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 7, in Rockefeller Gardens.

“Yogi Bear” is rated PG. Food vendors will be available. Bring your picnic baskets.
