Children's Workshop expands to hold 55 more students
Typically, The Children's Workshop has about 20 kids on their waitlist.
"We hate having to turn children away because we didn't have space," said Illiana Steele, voluntary pre-kindergarten teacher and assistant director. "They really wanted to come here."
Owners Brian and Kim Adair had been planning the extension for five years in order of offer their school's traditional teaching style to more children in the community.
"We've been here for over 30 years," she said. "We're a little more old school, and we've always had the reputation of producing kids that were ready for elementary school."
