City connects volunteers to neighbor in need

Members of Ormond Beach MainStreet and the Rotary Club of Downtown Ormond Beach recently helped a neighbor who was facing challenges and unable to care for their lawn.

The city's Neighborhood Improvement Division staff made the connection, and the volunteers are eager to provide future assistance. Staff will continue to work on matching volunteer groups with those in need of assistance.

The city wanted to thank the volunteers who gave their time: Ellen Crotts, Jacob Crotts, Hal Gerow, Becky Parker, Shawn Pruner, and Alex Youngblood.
