Members of Prince of Peace Council of Catholic Women recently attended a Leadership Symposium.

The two-day symposium was offered by the Orlando Diocese of Catholic Women as a training session for officers and commission chairwomen.

“Everyone was busy attending the sessions and learning a lot about how to help strengthen our affiliates, as well as how to be

better CCW members,” Vice President Marcia Rudman said. “Some of the sessions offered included team building, resources, plagiarism, membership recruitment and retention, and writing reports.  All of us who attended benefited a great deal.”

The officers and committee chairwomen who attended were: Pat Ostrowski, president; Marcia Rudman, vice president; Marlene Braganza, secretary; Rosi Schuhmacher, treasurer; Calvie Dean, spiritual commission chair; and Connie Komatz and Marlene Braganza, arts and crafts committee chairs.
