Food Brings Hope was the recent recipient of a generous contribution from 71MVP and Daniel Dye Racing.

A check in the amount of $10,000 was presented to Nellie Hosseini Lupoli, vicechair of Food Brings Hope, by Daniel Dye and Nikki Risley. Dye, a senior at Father Lopez Catholic High School who proudly holds the title as an ARCA and super late model driver, is known as one of the youngest drivers in the ARCA series. Dye won the first ARCA Menards Series race at Berlin Raceway this past July.

“We’re humbled for the opportunity to raise and provide funds to Food Brings Hope, through 71MVP and Daniel Dye Racing," Dye said. "While the contribution is small, we know the amazing work that is done through their efforts and its resulting impact in the community.”

In attendance was also Nikki Risley, 71MVP treasurer.

"We consider ourselves very fortunate to be able to donate these funds to such a wonderful organization such as Food Brings Hope Inc., that puts their heart and soul into making sure children and young adults get the nutrition and additional support through programs needed to give them a step up toward success in life," Risley said. "We know how important it is to invest in our future generations, and Food Brings Hope does that.”

In appreciation for their support of FBH, Nellie Hosseini Lupoli said 71MVP and Daniel Dye Racing were "MVPs."

“Food Brings Hope is honored to be a beneficiary of 71MVP and Daniel Dye Racing’s generosity," she said. "Volusia County is so lucky to have these community-minded philanthropists who are always looking for ways to have a meaningful impact."
