Several members of the Captain James Ormond Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution spent their Saturday morning preparing one of the display windows at the Ormond Beach Library for this month's Constitution Week.

Constitution Week, which will be celebrated from Sept. 17 to 23, is a national observance started in 1955 by the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution. It was signed into law by President Dwight D. Einsenhower in 1956. The NSDAR's commitment is to encourage study and educate the public about the Constitution.

The DAR's efforts will be on display at the library for the month of September.
