Daytona Playhouse’s latest show, “Love Letters,” by A.R. Gurney, will feature Annie Gaybis and, in his second of three straight starring roles at the theater, Ormond Beach actor Robert O. Dimsey.

Dimsey’s last show was “Alone Together Again,” in December, and his next will be February's “Moonlight and Magnolias.” He’s been associated with the Playhouse, on and back stage, since the early 1970s.

“Love Letters” is also directed by Robert Weaver, of Ormond Beach, who will perform in the Senior Theater Workshop’s production of “Anything Goes,” as well, at the Ormond Beach Performing Arts Center.

Tickets are $25, with proceeds to benefit the replenishing of funds after an emergency $50 million roof replacement years back.

The show will run 7:30 p.m. Friday, Jan 18, and Saturday, 19, as well as 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan 20. Call 255-2431.
