The city’s “Enviro-Tips” TV series premiered Wednesday with a special guest appearance from Rae Rae the Red Panda.

There was no red carpet at the Performing Arts Center Wednesday night, Sept. 19, for the city’s premier of the “Enviro-Tips” television series, but there was something better: a red panda.
Rae Rae the Red Panda, the series’ star, stopped by the theater to take photos with kids before the show, which was funded through a Department of Energy grant.
“The Launch Party for the Enviro-Tips video was a success,” said Marc Schwartz, theater director. “The videos are a great educational resource to teach children about environmental awareness.”
All 20 of the “Enviro-Tips” videos, which originally aired on WDSC-TV, are now available online, at www.ormondbeach.org/greenvideos.
