‘We want the patients to feel at home’

Bogdanovski Family Practice has started business at 900 Sterthaus Drive, in the former location of Dr. Khurshid Khan, who has retired.

Dragi Bogdanovski, D.O., said new patients and walk-ins are welcome. His wife, Dr. Suzana Bogdanovska, is an emergency medical physician at Florida Hospital, Flagler, and will also work at the family practice.

“If you want a woman doctor, I’m here,” she said at the ribbon cutting on Sept. 30.

Originally from Macedonia, Dr. Bogdanovski moved to Ormond Beach in 1994, after his cousin, George Atanasoski, had relocated here. Atanasoski owns Microflex Inc. in Ormond Beach.

Bogdanovski later moved to New York, and returned to Ormond Beach in 2012.

“It’s more easy going here than in New York,” he said.

The rooms at the office have been decorated in various colors, unlike a typical medical office.

“I want the patients to feel at home,” Bogdanovska said. “There will be no white coat syndrome in our office.”
