The bank's donation was $3,000 more than it was last year.

A check for $5,500 was presented to United Way of Volusia-Flagler from the Fifth Third Bank Foundation earlier this month.
With a branch at the corner of West Granada Boulevard and North Beach Street, in Ormond Beach, the bank's market president, Joe DiSanti, presented the check to Ray Salazar, United Way president, in Daytona Beach.
The corporate gift was up $3,000 from last year, according to Salazar.
