Florida State Parks are closed until further notice

State parks are being closed to ensure visitor safety.

The Department of Environmental Protection’s Florida Park Service announces the closure of 53 state parks across the state due to imminent weather conditions including strong winds and rain. Preparations are being made to close an additional 79 parks by 5 p.m. today.

Tomoka State Park, North Peninsula State Park, Bulow State Park, Haw Creek State Preserve, Gamble Rogers State Recreation Area in Flagler Beach and Washington  Oaks Gardens State  Park are included in these closures.
