Executive Director, Food Brings Hope

Food Brings Hope was thrilled to host an end-of-the-year celebration for students enrolled in its after school programs, KidsZone and TeenZone. The event took place at the Jackie Robinson Ballpark where Food Brings Hope invited students, sponsors, and school representatives to eat, receive awards, and watch the Tortugas defeat the Jupiter Hammerheads.

In addition, Drew Maider, owner of four local Jersey Mike’s locations, and managers attended to be recognized as Business Partner of the Month. With their help during this year’s JM’s Day of Giving event, more than $30,000 was raised to benefit the children of FBH.

Tortugas General Manager Jim Jaworski also recognized FBH as the Community Hero of the night’s game. Nina Samuels, a FBHonors student at Mainland High School, was chosen to throw out the first pitch.
