Gold’s Gym urges members to keep valuables out of car after string of break-ins

The vehicle break-ins have happened in the parking lots of Gold’s Gym, Ace Hardware and the Halifax Humane Society Thrift Store.

Gold’s Gym recently posted on their Facebook page that there have been a string of vehicle break-ins in the parking lot of their parking lot. The Ormond Beach Police Department is aware of the situation and increasing their patrol in that area.

Police urge people to never leave valuables in their cars and to report any suspicious activity. Gold’s Gym does have cameras that cover some areas of the parking lot, but they do not cover the entire plaza area.
