Two dogs and two cats have been featured as this week's Halifax Humane Society Adoptable Pets of the Week.

The first dog is Dave, an 8-year-old Olde English Bulldog mix with a brown and tan coat. He has been with the Halifax Humane Society for almost a year, having come in Feb. 25, 2019, and the society is asking residents really consider adopting him. Dave is a good dog, and would be perfect in a household where he is the only pet. He is fun to play with, listens well, sits on command and performs other tricks. His adoption fee has been paid by a donor.

The second dog is Cheerio, a 2-year-old Plott Hound mix with a brown and black coat. He loves to chill on a chair or couch and is very observant. He has been with the Halifax Humane Society since Jan. 6, and his adoption fee costs $35.
